HEIC to WebP Converter
iPhone photos arrive as HEIC files that Windows, Android and most websites cannot open. Convert them to small, web-ready WebP files here — free and private.
Private by design: this tool runs entirely in your browser. Your files are never uploaded to a server, and nothing is stored.

.heic and .heif files from iPhone and iPad
HEIC decoding happens in your browser and can take a few seconds per photo on older phones. WebP files are smaller than JPG at the same quality, but some upload forms still reject WebP — for those, use our HEIC to JPG tool instead.
How to use it
Add your HEIC photo(s). Send them from your iPhone to this device first (email, USB, cloud drive), then choose them here.
Pick a quality and press Convert to WebP. Each photo is decoded and re-saved as a WebP.
Download and use anywhere modern. The WebP files are small and sharp for websites, blogs and chat.
When WebP is the right choice for an iPhone photo
JPG is the better everyday conversion — smallest compatibility risk. WebP earns its place when the photo is headed for the web: a blog post, a product page, a portfolio. It keeps the picture sharp at a noticeably smaller size than JPG, and because this converter runs locally with the same decoder the HEIC to JPG tool uses, even private photos never pass through anyone's server.
