How to use it
Choose your photo. Its pixel size appears right away.
Pick a preset or type the box. Presets crop the largest centred rectangle of that shape; the number boxes let you set any box you like.
Crop, check the preview, download. The preview is the exact cropped picture, in the format you chose.
Why crop instead of resize?
Resizing squeezes the whole picture smaller; cropping throws away the edges you don't want and keeps the subject at full sharpness. A phone photo with empty sky above a face becomes a tight portrait; a wide landscape becomes a square profile picture without squashing anyone. Presets handle the common shapes (square for profiles, 16:9 for covers), and the custom box covers everything else — a signature strip, a document corner, one person out of a group photo.
