JSON Minifier

Squeeze pretty-printed JSON into one compact line — validated first, with the size saving shown.

How to use it

Paste your JSON — pretty-printed, indented, however it arrives.
Minify. The tool validates it first; broken JSON gets an error with the exact position instead of a bad output.
Copy the compact line and check the saving shown next to the result. Need it readable again? Our JSON Formatter does the reverse.

Whitespace is for humans

Indentation exists so people can read structure at a glance — machines never needed it. Every API response, webhook payload, config blob and embedded data island pays for that whitespace in bytes, and at scale the bytes are real money and real latency. Minifying is the safest optimisation in software: same data, same key order, same values, just the air squeezed out. And because a minifier that silently 'fixed' broken input would be dangerous, this one validates first and shows its working in the size count.
