Text to Speech

Paste any text and hear it read aloud — pick a voice, tune the speed and pitch, press speak.

Your browser's built-in voices do the reading and nothing is recorded by ToolPixi. Local voices work fully on-device; voices marked online may use the browser maker's service — see the FAQ.

How to use it

Paste your text — an article, a draft, anything up to a long document.
Pick a voice and set speed and pitch. Slow a dense text down; speed a familiar one up.
Press Speak. Pause and resume whenever you like; Stop ends the reading.

Your ears catch what your eyes forgive

Writers proofread badly because the brain autocorrects the page it wrote. Hearing the same text spoken is a different sense doing the checking: repeated words thud, missing commas run sentences into each other, and clumsy dialogue sounds clumsy. The same engine serves readers who simply prefer listening — long articles on a walk, instructions with occupied hands, study notes at 1.4× speed. It all runs on the voices already built into your device, which is why it costs nothing and asks for nothing.
